Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Treetops Lodge. These Terms and Conditions govern your booking, stay, and use of services at our lodge. You agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions by confirming your reservation.

1. Reservation & Payment
  •  Booking: A valid payment method is required to confirm your reservation. Depending on the room type or special offer, some bookings may require full payment upfront.
  • Rates: All rates are quoted in Kenyan shillings/US dollars and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Rates are subject to change without notice.
  • Check-in/Check-out: Check-in time is from 12 PM, and check-out is by 10 AM. Late check-out may be available upon request for an additional fee.
2. Accommodation
  • Occupancy Limits: Each room has a maximum occupancy. Exceeding the occupancy limit may result in additional charges or the cancellation of the booking.
  • Age Restrictions: Guests under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult. Minors must be supervised at all times.
3. Park Fee
  • Note that the accommodation rates are not inclusive of park fee
4. General Conduct
  • Damage and Liability: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the lodge’s property during their stay. You will be charged for any necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the lodge rooms. Designated smoking areas are provided.
5. Health & Safety
  • Emergency Procedures: Guests must familiarize themselves with fire exits, emergency procedures, and contact information.
  • Medical Conditions: Please inform us of any special medical needs or dietary restrictions at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate your requirements.
6. Liability & Disclaimers
  •  General Liability: Treetops Lodge is not liable for accidents, injuries, or losses that occur on the premises. Guests are advised to take care of their personal belongings.
  • Force Majeure: We are not responsible for failure to provide services due to unforeseen events, such as natural disasters, labor strikes, or government-imposed restrictions.
7. Privacy Policy
  • Personal Data: We collect personal information to book, check in, and improve your experience at Treetops Lodge. We respect your privacy and do not share your information without your consent, except as required to fulfill services.
  • Marketing: By staying with us, you consent to receive promotional materials unless you opt-out.
8. Modifications to Terms and Conditions
  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately.
9. Governing Law
  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court.
10.Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation penalties apply unless otherwise specified in the Buyer’s Sales Contract:


-Peak Season Cancellation
 25% penalty: For cancellations or reductions in several rooms between 90 and 60 days from the check-in date.
50% penalty: For cancellations or reductions in several rooms between 59 and 30 days from the check-in date.
 100% penalty: For cancellations or reductions in several rooms within 29 days or less from the check-in date.


-High Season Cancellation
25% penalty: For cancellations or reductions in the number of rooms between 45 and 31 days from the check-in date.
50% penalty: For cancellations or reductions in the number of rooms between 30 and 15 days from the check-in date.
100% penalty: For cancellations or reductions in the number of rooms within 14 days or less from the check-in date.


 -Low Season Cancellation
25% penalty: For cancellations or reductions in the number of rooms between 21 and 15 days from the check-in date.
50% penalty: For cancellations or reductions in several rooms between 14 and 8 days from the check-in date.
100% penalty: For cancellations or reductions in several rooms within 7 days or less from the check-in date.

Refund Process

  • All cancellations should be made in writing via email or our website.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed to the original method of payment. Please allow up to 5 business days for processing.
    Force Majeure or Exceptional Circumstances
  • In cases of medical emergencies, government restrictions, or other extraordinary circumstances, we will review the situation and may offer rescheduling options or a
    partial refund. This will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

By confirming your reservation with Treetops Lodge, you acknowledge that you have read,
understood and agreed to the Terms and Conditions and the Cancellation Policy outlined
above.
